For the Australian launch of HBO Max, Machine Studio partnered with Present Co to deliver a massive suite of high-impact video content — fast, sharp and at a global standard. Massive suite ie 50+ edits. In one week.

The ask? Big energy, clean finish, and built to hit across every screen.

Hero films. Modular cutdowns. Motion-driven social. A full library of assets built to launch a brand already known for prestige into a new market with cultural impact.

Fast and tight

This wasn’t just about making something look good, it was about shooting and cutting live at speed for a full week over 8 locations (including the top of the Harbour Bridge), and with our full team as well as our team of gun contractors. Without losing fidelity.

Production turnarounds were rapid and creative expectations were high. We worked in lockstep with Present Company and the HBO Max team to design a pipeline that could handle both, with real-time feedback loops aimed at precision edits. This required agile, multi-skilled crews that could scale up and down depending on the moment, and even entirely change shoot locations and call times with a moment’s notice.

It was a global campaign made with local nuance, and it delivered.
